I got a job with Monash Medical Centre immediately after my work placement. I have been working at Monash Medical Centre since I finished studying in 2018. I have been there 3 and a half years. I have learnt everything there is to learn there. I work at over 4 sites and also in the private sector, children sector and ED. I enjoyed my course at LTT, it was fast, efficient and compact. I’m now studying a TAE course so I can teach pathology.

I gained employment immediately after studying in 2017, and I have remained employed since. I was a phlebotomist with Clinipath for four years and now I’ve been a hospital phlebotomist with Western Diagnostics for over a year. Above all, I value the practical skills I gained from LTT. I recommend LTT and am thankful I chose them as my training provider.

I had an interview the Monday after placement finished back in 2018, and started at Dorevitch Pathology four weeks later! I was successful in my appointment as Team Leader at Dorevitch. From May 2021 to February 2022, I was appointed area coordinator for a nine-month secondment. I have just successfully been appointed Area Coordinator at head office in Heidelberg looking after mobile collectors, ECG desk and collection control. Studying at LTT gave me the confidence to go out in the workplace and be successful from all the knowledge I learnt in class.

I finished my pathology course with LTT in February 2019, I completed my placement in May 2019 and got a job at QML in August 2019! I’ve been working with QML ever since. I’m a paediatric trained collector and do hospital rounds through our hospital partners. I can also train new staff and mentor students. Learning the knowledge of Drugs of Abuse testing during the course at LTT really helped to gain employment!

I gained employment immediately after my placement with LTT with Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology as a specimen collector in 2017. I have now been with them for 5 years this year and still love my job. I can’t thank LTT enough for the awesome training and skills I gained. Training with LTT gave me clinical skills, interpersonal skills, competency and confidence. LTT was literally life changing for me.

After finishing my course in 2019, I got a casual job as a phlebotomist in August 2020. Now I’m working full-time, many thanks to Australian Clinical Labs for giving me the opportunity.

I gained employment at Monash hospital pretty quickly after finishing the course in 2020. I worked there for a few months and now I’m working at Monash IVF. Studying at LTT gave me all the skills needed to become a pathology collector. I’m really enjoying myself working as a phlebotomist for Monash IVF.

I secured a job working as a Phlebotomist at a Perth hospital in 2018. I love my job and despite the pandemic I have remained employed. I’m so glad I took the plunge as a mature aged student and gained my dream job. Thanks to the wonderful trainers at LTT and their wealth of knowledge.

I finished my course in 2019 and was hired straight after my work placement. I’ve been working as a phlebotomist at Toowoomba base hospital for Pathology Queensland. Studying at LTT started my skills and experience in blood collection, and helped me to demonstrated good technique to secure my job. Mirta was my teacher and her knowledge of hospital based phlebotomy is the reason I was successful in my position!

I got a job straight out of training in 2018! I started as a collector with QML for 2 years, then went to 4Cyte Pathology as a collector and courier. Soon I became the courier supervisor for the Sunshine Coast. Now I’m currently the business manager for 4Cyte Pathology Wide Bay region. LTT’s course provide me with the relevant knowledge required to be a pathology collector and taught me how to be competent in blood collection.
