See Where Other Paths Have Lead

It has been 5 years since I trained with LTT and I have been working in pathology ever since! Before training with LTT I was a stay-at-home mum, and prior to that I worked in retail.
LTT Brisbane’s Certificate III in Pathology Collection course worked so well for me around school and day-care times. It was such a welcoming class and I always looked forward to each day.
My favourite part of the course was the fact that we learnt so much in the short amount of time we had. The course content was made fun and easy to understand.
Life has been busy since graduation, I have worked in pathology collection since one month after finishing the course, including all through the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ve been blessed to work in both clinics and hospitals. I worked with the same company for four years until recently relocating. I have since been working remotely on the island I live on for an incredibly well known and amazing company. My days are spent grabbing a coffee on the way to work and greeting my regular patients as I open the doors. Seeing patients actually happy to come for a blood test makes it all worth it, it’s why I love my job.

I’m from Philippines, my background is advertising and I have 3 kids. Before studying at LTT Melbourne, I was a home baker and doing catering.
I chose to study the Certificate III in Pathology Collection with LTT because the duration of the course and the location of the training centre suited me. The course was really good and exciting for me. The course was actually more than I expected. Our Trainer/Assessor was Amit, he was very helpful and supportive. He explained the topics to us clearly and he taught very well.
My favourite part of the course was learning how to collect blood! I enjoyed all the practical assessments really, but I love learning visually and in person. Days after finishing my work placement, I got a job as a pathology collector for ACL.
Life since graduating has been very good for me! I’m still working with ACL and I’m loving my job! My confidence has come back, and I feel like I’m doing something good for myself and others.
My daily tasks include collecting blood and other specimens from patients, as well are making sure that the patient and myself are in a good and safe environment.
The best decision I made in 2021 was studying at LTT. LTT changed my life and are a big reason I am the person I am today.

I completed the Certificate III in Pathology Collection course at LTT Brisbane in 2015, and it has been the best decision of my life.
The course fully prepared me for a brilliant career from collection clinics, to on road collections and finally my dream of working in a hospital. I’m now a team leader, working in ICU emergency. I work with mothers and babies, and perform blood collection, blood gases, cannulation and MET calls.
Thank you LTT!

I dropped out of high school due to unfortunate circumstances, and I wanted to restart my path back to studying medicine. I found LTT while researching entry-level courses in the medical field. LTT Perth’s Certificate III in Pathology Collection was exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price.
My training experience was fantastic. The Trainers were helpful, and the work was laid out in an easily understood manner. The course allowed me to work at my own pace. I really enjoyed the practical aspects of the venous collection unit. I’m now focusing on job applications and considering further study with LTT in laboratory techniques. In the future, I hope to get a Bachelor of Medicine to get into med school, to become a general practitioner or a pathologist.

I have prior work experience as an assistant nurse and personal carer working as an agency AIN and in an aged care setting.
I enrolled with LTT Brisbane after reading the reviews from people from different work backgrounds and how they were satisfied with the course. The reviews said it was a great course to get all the knowledge and experience to work in the pathology field.
I found my training experience of the Certificate III in Pathology Collection to be second to none. I appreciate the trainer I had during my time with LTT. I am very thankful for how she shared with us all her knowledge and experience making it a great course experience. My favourite part of the course was the hands-on training of blood collection.
Now that I’m finished training, I would like to get a job that will be able to provide me with the flexibility of life and work balance, in the field of phlebotomy.

My previous work background is in retail. I heard about LTT through a customer who had completed the course.
I liked that LTT Brisbane’s offering of the Certificate III in Pathology Collection includes drugs of abuse testing and the practical of bleeding classmates. My training was excellent. The knowledge and experience of the trainer that was passed on is invaluable. My favourite aspect of the course was the mix of people, I was fortunate enough to be in a small class which made it easy to learn and have time put into us individually

Before enrolling at LTT I was working as a security officer. I was looking on the internet for a training provider who offered the Certificate III in Pathology Collection near me. I found LTT Brisbane to be the cheapest and quickest option.
During my training I learnt everything I needed for a job. My favourite part of the course was the hands-on training and performing venepuncture every week.
Currently, I am working as a Pathology Collector for 4Cyte Pathology. I’m on my way to 100 bleeds in a 4Cyte Clinic which is a requirement before they can give me my own clinic. Occasionally, I work as a COVID-19 swab collector too. As soon as I fulfill all requirements, hopefully I will get my own clinic! LTT prepared me very well for real life work situations. Toni was a great teacher, and everything she taught us in class was very helpful. My first day at work did not feel like a first day because we had done those things in class! I highly recommend LTT to others.

Before I started studying at LTT Brisbane, I worked in aged care as an Assistant in Nursing for over 5 years. I started my Enrolled Nursing studies and unfortunately fell and fractured my humerus which resulted in surgery and no longer having the strength in my arm to complete nursing duties. The Certificate III in Pathology Collection has allowed me to stay in the health care industry.
A few people I know studied through LTT and absolutely loved the experience as well.
LTT offered fantastic support and study guidance. They were happy to enrol me into the next available class the second I called.
The training was amazing, it was very hands on, and the support was extremely amazing. Everyone at LTT was always a pleasure to deal with and talk to. Cheryl our trainer was a delight, she believed in all of us and because of her we can believe in ourselves.
My favourite part of the course was learning new skills and being supported unconditionally.
I have been offered a job with QML and am in the process of getting everything done to get my new job started. It is a newfound passion of mine, and I wouldn’t change it. My only regret is not studying sooner! I hope to the best phlebotomist I can be, I hope to put everything I have learnt into practice and continue to make LTT proud!

Before enrolling at LTT my background was in management and customer service. I enrolled in the Certificate III in Pathology Collection course at LTT Perth because the mix of study at home and in the classroom allowed me to continue working during the course. This was a big plus for me as I cannot do without an income.
My training experience was excellent, very user friendly and the staff and trainers were on hand in an instant if you ran into trouble. I could not express enough how encouraging and helpful everyone was as LTT.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and surprised myself as I haven’t studied for a very long time. It has given me the confidence to do anything I set my mind to.”
