My background many years ago was in accounting. I have been a stay-at-home mum while also doing volunteer work. I was caring for my mum and volunteering as secretary for a sporting club before enrolling with LTT.

A member at the club I volunteer at, who is a neurosurgeon in Perth, recommended me to LTT.

After attending an information session, I decided to enrol in the COVID-19 Collection skill set. The staff were accommodating and friendly.

Overall, the training was excellent. The trainer made it very enjoyable, and no question was a stupid question. My favourite part of the short course was the practicals. Getting to put what we learnt into action. I learn better with hands-on experiences.

I had just completed 8 years in my company as a Lab Technician and was promoted to Laboratory Manager. I had previously completed my Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques and Diploma of Laboratory Technology through LTT.

Construction Sciences put me through the Advanced Diploma of Laboratory Operations with LTT Melbourne.

My overall training experience was very good. My favourite part of the course was the face to face interaction with the trainer, it kept the learning more real.

I’m now applying the knowledge to my existing role. I want to achieve the highest level of education there is, in the branch of CMT testing and applying my knowledge and skills to assist with problem solving.

Good to see that LTTs training is not just a “tick and flick” kind of a program, hope you keep it that way for the benefit of all.

I’m a Senior Laboratory Technician at Colas. My employer put me through the Advanced Diploma of Laboratory Operations with LTT. My training experience was 10/10.

Working through the assessments and answering the questions made me realise that everyday tasks in a lab are quite vast. I’m now focusing on continually improving my knowledge and role as a Lab Supervisor. My career goals are to climb the ladder, maybe one day become a lab manager.

My Trainer/Assessor was Marjan, she is an excellent assessor with great knowledge and organisational skills.

I am a mother of three and a business owner/operator of a Skin and Laser Clinic. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science, specialising in Dermal Therapies. I am also a dermoscopist (skin cancer checks), Diploma qualified beauty therapist and I hold a Certificate IV in Workplace and Assessment.

I was enrolled in a different place to LTT and started the first day of that phlebotomy course. However, they were very unorganised and everything was a mystery. Being a business owner, I couldn’t operate that way. I needed somewhere with more structure and that was more organised.

LTT kept popping up on my Facebook so I decided to give LTT Melbourne a call, from there I fell in love. The lady that answered my telephone enquiry was so helpful and organised, gave me all the dates and everything I needed to know about the Certificate III in Pathology Collection course.

The reason I did this course was to add an extra service to my treatment list, however I loved it so much that I wouldn’t mind working one day a week as a phlebotomist! COVID-19 lockdowns definitely made our training experience challenging. The hands on, practical training was my favourite part of the course. The skills you gain from this course are second to none. Evie Csapo has been amazing, her knowledge is second to none and the skills you gain from her vast experience, you can’t get anywhere else. I can’t recommend this course enough. I’m now utilising this new skill to add PRP to my treatment services for skin and hair rejuvenation.

Before enrolling in the Certificate III in Pathology Collection at LTT Melbourne I was an Enrolled Nurse. My training was very good and my favourite part of the course was the practical skills learnt and interaction with other students. I enjoyed the course immensely and I learnt skills to enable me to join workforce in pathology collection.
