Available Qualifications (for School Students):

MSL40122 Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques

This is a slightly higher-level qualification and may only be available for school students following the completion of the Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.  This qualification builds technical ability in the use of laboratory application software, maintaining and controlling stock, performing chemical tests, and more.

The course is designed to provide in-depth insight into the industry and focuses on promoting methodological competence, preparing students for technical jobs as laboratory personnel, including laboratory technicians and technical assistants.  Check with your school and the team here at LTT to check your eligibility.

MSL20122 Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement

The MSL20122 Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement provides the foundational skills and knowledge required to carry out routine sampling and measurement tasks in laboratory, production, or field-based settings across a range of industries.

It is designed as an entry-level qualification and can support further training or career development. People undertaking this qualification typically perform straightforward sampling and testing duties within established guidelines. Expect early career roles such as sampling, production operations, plant operations, field support, driving, or pathology courier services.
