Think lab work is all white coats and microscopes? Not quite. Today’s lab technicians play a crucial role in industries well beyond research. They’re testing the food we eat, keeping our water safe, monitoring the environment, supporting pathology labs, strengthening our mining and manufacturing sectors - even helping drive Australia’s clean energy future.
At LTT’s South Melbourne campus, students gain practical, job-ready experience in purpose-built labs. They train with industry professionals, develop real-world technical skills, and connect directly with employers looking for new laboratory talent.
