Whether you did your training with LTT or elsewhere, our Venepuncture Refresher gives you two ways to get back up to speed – a full refresher or a practical-only session – with live venepuncture practice in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Day 1 – Introduction to Venous Blood Collection: Safety & Clinical Risks
An introductory session covering the fundamentals of safe venous blood collection, including key clinical risks and collection practice through simulation. At least one live bleed at the end of the day!
Day 2 – Venous Blood Collection: Practical
A highly practical session focused on developing technique and confidence, including the opportunity to undertake live blood collections under supervision.
Participants will be able to attend Day 1, Day 2, or both days, depending on their existing experience and training needs.
Fees
1: Both Days – The Complete Refresh
Review the foundations, then work through the full venepuncture process. Best if it’s been a long time, or you want to rebuild your knowledge before getting hands-on.

Payment
LTT and Labtech Training Victoria does not accept cash payments (Australian banknotes or coins) for any student fees, including course fees, materials fees, administration charges, or any other related costs. All payments are required to be processed via electronic methods.
Accepted Payment Methods
Students can make payments using the following methods:

Credit/Debit Card: Payments can be made in person at the administration office using EFTPOS facilities or made online via the student portal.

Direct Bank Transfer (EFT): Funds can be transferred directly to the LTT and Labtech Training Victoria nominated bank account. (Account details provided on invoices and written agreements).

Payment Plan Providers: Approved third-party payment instalment through Ezidebit Direct Debit recurring payment available to students through their Merchant Trust Initiative (MTI) Portal.
