LTT has tailored training programs to support construction materials testing (CMT) sectors across Australia. Laboratory technicians and managers working in geotechnical, asphalt, concrete, cement, composite fibre, soils, aggregates and road pavement are all catered for with our specialised training.

CMT staff are trained to support multi-stage testing which determine the properties of construction materials, such as load bearing ability, creep, shrinkage, durability, plasticity, permeability, chloride diffusion and reactivity. New workers focus on safety and basic testing, while more experienced workers take on more complex testing, calibration and quality units.

We work with the Australian flexible Pavement Association (AfPA) to deliver a contextualised qualification to meet the needs of the industry and its members.
