Tailored programs are in place for technicians and sample preparers working in mineral, coal, fire assay, and metallurgical laboratories covering sample preparation, analytical procedures, and mineral and coal testing.

Courses can be customised to suit sample preparers or those working in the analytical areas of the operations. All participants are exposed to core units involving WHS, calibration, routine multi-step tests, data processing and interpretation of results.

Our graduates work across different commodities including coal, gold, silver, zinc, iron ore, nickel, and – increasingly – battery minerals, as well as in the oil and gas sector. LTT embraces the opportunity to train in remote locations, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to study no matter where they’re based.
